| Health and Dental Insurance |
| Kings Electronics provides health (Blue Cross Blue Shield of SC PPO) and dental (Blue Cross Blue Shield of SC) insurance for full-time associates and eligible dependents. New associates are eligible the first of the month following hire date. |
| Flexible Benefit Account - Health Care and Dependent Care |
| Associates may elect to contribute tax-free dollars in the Health Care Account to pay for eligible medical/dental health care expenses that are not covered or paid in full by health/dental plans. In addition, an associate may elect to contribute tax-free dollars in the Dependent Care Account to pay for day care expenses for a child or elderly dependent. |
| Company-Paid Life Insurance |
| Kings Electronics provides life insurance for full-time associates in the amount of one times base annual earnings, maximum of $150,000. New hires are eligible the first of the month following 30-days of continuous service. |
| Voluntary Life Insurance |
| Active full-time associates may apply for term life insurance for self, spouse and eligible dependents for the following amounts: Self and Spouse - $10,000 increments up to $500,000, Eligible Dependents - Up to $15,000. |
| Holidays |
| The company observes twelve days as paid holidays each calendar year that includes two Floating Holidays. |
| Vacation |
| Vacation time will accrue on January 1 based on full years of service of the previous year. | Personal Days |
| On the last day of the month, an active full-time associate will accrue four hours of a Personal Day, maximum forty hours per calendar year. New Hires will begin receiving Personal Days the last day of the month following 90-days continuous service. |
| Disability Program |
| In the event an associate is away from work because of an illness or disability with an approved medical authorization, Kings Electronics provides short-term disability benefits up to 90 days. Should the absence exceed 90 days, long-term disability benefits are available with an approved medical authorization. |
| 401K Savings Plan |
| After six months of continuous employment, an associate may contribute up to 15% in the 401K Savings Plan. The company will match 50% of contributions up to 6%. The company contribution will be 100% vested after three years of continuous service. |
| Educational Reimbursement Program |
| After six months of continuous employment, an associate may receive tuition reimbursement for job-related courses or courses that would benefit the employee and the company. Kings Electronics will reimburse 100% tuition for a grade "B" or better up to a maximum of two courses per semester (six credit hours). A grade "C" will be reimbursed 50% tuition with a grade point average (GPA) greater than 3.0. |
