NEBS Level III

NEBS (Network Equipment Building Systems) has long been a requirement for telecommunications equipment used in the Central Office.  In recent years, the NEBS certification has expanded to become a universal measure of network product excellence.   

Originally developed by Bell Telephone Laboratories in the 1970's, the NEBS criteria have become the most referenced documents in the United States telecommunications industry.  NEBS requirements ensure that the interconnect and other electrical products produced for the telecommunications market are easy to install, operate reliably and efficiently occupy building space.  By purchasing products that are produced by a NEBS certified manufacturer, you can reduce product installation and maintenance costs.
